With the weather finally warming up after what felt like the longest winter in CA. On that note, I'm going to petition for a state tax refund for all of the days it was gloomy, rainy, and cold which in my mind accumulates to 180 days. IRS, I demand my $180 tax refund for claiming CA to have the best weather year-round when that was not the case this year. Cough it up!

As much as I like layering up, wearing oversized clothes, jackets, and hoodies. I'm so ready for the spring colors, crop tops, shorts, skirts, dresses, sandals, etc. so I can hang out at the beach or have a cute picnic in the park. My fashion goal is to build out a closet wardrobe and shop more sustainably. When I started fashion blogging, the first thing I did was consume fast fashion because it was affordable, accessible, and trendy. I'm heading back to my roots where thrift shopping is trendy, investment pieces are where it's at, and maximizing the wearability of your clothes is IN.

Lately, I've been seeing a lot of micro shorts, jorts, boxer shorts, fringe, western, sporty preppy, animal print, stripes, and sheer. I'm here for it! I would say I'm gravitating to the sporty preppy, boxer shorts, leopard print, bold color-wearing aesthetic.

Here are some of my favorite brands to shop for this spring: Madewell, JadedLondon, Uniqlo, ThredUp, Depop, American Vintage, Elwood Clothing (basic tees + crop tops), and Stradavarius. <3
